These words summarize Jesus' mission and help us understand the significance of his death and resurrection. Through this study you will come to appreciate Jesus' atonement in a new way.

Chapters include an in-depth study of Jesus as a Lamb sacrificed for our sins, the amazing prophecy of Christ as the Lamb in Isaiah 53, redemption through the blood of the Lamb, Christ as our Passover Lamb, and the Lamb on the throne in the Book of Revelation.

The book contains a wealth of background information, as well as questions for thought or discussion and key verses for meditation. These five lessons can be used for personal enrichment, Lenten Bible studies by small groups and classes, and by teachers and preachers for sermon preparation.

This study is also available in DVD format for classes or groups. Each week Dr. Wilson will share for 20-25 minutes on DVD. He'll teach a while and then have you pause the DVD to discuss together a provocative question about that topic. After discussion, you resume the DVD until the next question. Each week's material, with group discussion, is designed to last about an hour -- so long as you keep the discussion from getting out of hand.

The advantage of studying this way is that the leader doesn't have to spend hours preparing for the lesson. His or her role is primarily to lead the discussion at several points during the lesson as a facilitator. Our goal is to help your group understand at a deeper level what Christ has done for them in his atonement, his freeing from sin, and his resurrection.
