| READER 3 | Intoxicated by self-indulgence. |
| READER 1 | The master of that servant will come |
| READER 2 | He will come on a day when the servant does not expect him |
| READER 3 | and at an hour he is not aware of. |
| READER 1 | The master will cut him to pieces |
| READER 2 | and assign him a place with the unbelievers. |

| READER 2 | Severe punishment |
| READER 3 | And exclusion from the presence of the Lord |
| READER 2 | with the unbelievers |
| READER 3 | with the faithless |

| READER 1 | That servant who knows his master's will and does not get ready |
| READER 2 | or does not do what his master wants |

| READER 2 | and does things deserving punishment |
| READER 3 | will be beaten with few blows. |
| READER 1 | From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; |
| READER 2 | and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. |

| READER 2 | much will be demanded; |
| READER 1 | and from the one who has been entrusted with much, |
| READER 2 | much more will be asked. |
| READER 1 | I have been given a lot |
| READER 2 | I have been given much |
| READER 3 | My Lord expects much from me |
| READER 2 | And entrusts me with his riches. |
| READER 3 | Much has been given |
| READER 2 | A great deal |
| ALL | Much is expected. |
