A new Internet Bible study will begin on January 1, 2000 with the purpose of building Christians into stronger disciples. It's designed the same way Jesus trained his twelve disciples, by walking with them through life, week by week, over a period of three years. Called JesusWalk, the Bible study consists of weekly lessons from the Gospel of Luke that help participants to study each teaching and ministry event of Jesus' life. If they desire, participants may also become part of an e-mail discussion group with people from other areas and countries. JesusWalk offers special groups for those in the inquiry stage of just learning about Christianity prior to making any kind of commitment. There are also special groups for New Christians, to help them learn the basic steps of faith. JesusWalk is offered by Dr. Ralph F. Wilson, director of Joyful Heart Ministries, a non-denominational organization that has been providing Internet Bible study since 1996. You may sign up online at http://www.jesuswalk.com.
